Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was using a JTAS-10-L tilting table saw to cut particle board for a countertop backing. He was using a push stick when his right hand slipped off the stick and contacted the unguarded saw blade. All five fingers on his right hand were lacerated, and he was transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital, where he treated for 3 days. Employee #1 later stated that he had regained full and unrestricted use of his fingers.
