Employee's hand injured in disc grinder

Employee #1 was using a disc grinder to deburr a piece of sheet metal. He was lifting up the material at an angle from the work surface when it became caught between the disc and the table. His hand was drawn into the disc, which ground away his knuckle and lacerated his hand. The accident was caused by Employee #1's haste and lack of caution.
