Employee's arm lacerated when elbow breaks window

Employee #1, a mechanic for Heublein, Inc., was cleaning the dust off the top of a tank in the boiler room. While cleaning a part of the tank next to a window, he stood with one leg on the frame of the tank support and the other leg on the window ledge. When he leaned back toward the window, his left elbow broke through a pane of glass, severely lacerating his left arm.
