Employee injured by fall from aircraft cargo pit

Employee #1 was inside a 747 aircraft cargo pit trying to move a large cargo baggage container with side handle straps. He was pulling the container when one of the straps broke loose, causing him to lose his balance. He fell forward out of the cargo doorway 9 1/2 ft to the concrete. He was hospitalized with a fractured back.
