Employees finger crushed by compactor

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on July 2, 1991, Employee #1 and a coworker were removing a compactor container away from a stationary vertical compactor. Employee #1's left middle finger was crushed. He was transported at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, where his finger was amputated.
