Investigation Summary
Employee #1 and two coworkers were setting chokers at a logging site. All three workers were too close to the lines when the go-ahead was given to the yarder engineer. One coworker was approximately 25 ft from the lines and Employee #1 and another coworker were 39 ft from the lines. All the employees ducked when a log swung around, but Employee #1 was struck. He suffered multiple bruises and contusions.
