Employee struck by uprooted tree

Employee #1 was standing to the rear of a tree being felled by the employer, when a second tree uprooted and fell on him. The two trees were neither entangled nor had common branches. The employer suspects that soft ground and vibrations from the felled tree caused the second tree to fall. Employee #1 was hospitalized, but survived.
