ELECTRIC SHOCK - DIRECT CONTACT WITH ENERGIZED PARTS

A FOUR-PERSON CREW WAS INSTALLING A CURRENT TRANSFORMER ON A 4160-VOLT POWER LINE. THE WORK WAS TO BE PERFORMED DEENERGIZED. THE EMPLOYEES WERE NOT TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE TESTING THE CIRCUIT TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT IT WAS ENERGIZED. ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES DID NOT WAIT, HOWEVER; AND HE WAS ELECTROCUTED WHEN HE APPARENTLY STEPPED INTO THE BUS, WHICH WAS STILL ENERGIZED.
