ELECTRIC SHOCK - DIRECT CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE

TWO EMPLOYEES WERE WORKING FROM A HI-RANGER AERIAL LIFT. THEY WERE CLIPPING ENERGIZED LINES AND INSTALLING NEW (DEENERGIZED) LINES. THE EMPLOYEE OPERATING THE LIFT MANEUVERED IT TOO CLOSE TO ONE OF THE ENERGIZED LINES, CAUSING THE OTHER EMPLOYEE TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE LINE. BOTH EMPLOYEES WERE ELECTROCUTED. (THE REPORT DID NOT DETAIL HOW THE EMPLOYEE OPERATING THE AERIAL LIFT CONTACTED THE LINE.)
