ELECTRIC SHOCK - DIRECT CONTACT WITH UNDERGROUND POWER LINE

A power line worker was installing conductors for an underground power line for a new development. He made a connection to a conductor that he thought was deenergized. Unfortunately, the 7200-volt conductor was energized; and the employee was electrocuted. Current entry and exit wounds were found on the employee's left hand and left knee.
