ELECTRIC SHOCK - CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE THRU GUY

A FIVE-PERSON POWER LINE CREW WAS REPLACING A DEAD-END UTILITY POLE. WHEN THE NEW POLE WAS RAISED TO MOVE IT INTO POSITION, ITS GUY CONTACTED A 7620-VOLT OVERHEAD POWER LINE. ONE OF THE POWER LINE WORKERS, WHO WAS APPARENTLY TOUCHING THE END OF THE GUY, WAS ELECTROCUTED.
