Employee injured in 33 ft fall from rebar curtain wall

At approximately 6:00 a.m., Employee #1, an ironworker for Great Western Erectors, was installing shear ties on a 39 ft high by 21 ft wide by 20 in. thick rebar curtain wall. He had put a shear tie on the curtain wall and was moving to a new location when he lost his footing and fell approximately 33 ft onto concrete. At the time of the accident, Employee #1 had worked for the company for approximately three months.
