Employee dies after overcome by chicken rendering fumes

Employee #3 was standing on the bumper guard loosening a wing nut on a trailer of chicken renderings when he slipped from the bumper guard into a pit 2/3 full of chicken renderings. He apparently passed out. Employee #2 jumped into the pit to try and rescue him. After he also passed out, Employee #1 jumped in to try and rescue both employees. All three were retrieved by a local fire department and rushed to a local hospital. Employee #1 was pronounced dead at the hospital.
