One employee killed and one injured by out-of-control car

Employees #1 and #2 were at the shoulder of the southbound lane of the Major Deegan Expressway, setting out traffic cones to allow them to remove concrete forms. An out-of-control automobile entered the barricaded area and struck the employees. Employee #1 was killed and Employee #2 was injured.
