Employee killed when crushed by falling load of plywood

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on March 3, 1993, Employee #1 was working at the tramway, a moving track that carries plywood sheet bundles into a pressure treating chamber. The lumber had been processed and was moving out of the chamber when the employee unleashed one of two straps holding the bundle together, causing the bundle to shift or fall forward. Employee #1 had a front end loader parked at the tramway and was standing up facing the bundle of plywood. He was killed when he became pinned between the falling plywood and the loader.
