Employee injured when legs crushed by conveyor

Employee #1, a de-barker operator, did not shut down a chain conveyor before climbing on the area next to the chain conveyor to adjust a log. After adjusting the log and turning to leave the area, the log bumped into Employee #1 and knocked him onto the running conveyor. The conveyor carried the employee to the end where his legs were crushed. The employee was hospitalized and part of one leg was amputated.
