Event: 12/15/1990
Employee dies after being found unconscious between tracks

At approximately 8:30 a.m. on December 15, 1990, Employee #1 was found by a coworker lying on the concrete walkway between tracks #39 and #40. Other employees responded to the emergency by covering Employee #1 and calling 911 to summon medical help. Firefighters from station #8 responded. The employee was transported to the LDS Hospital in serious condition and died one day later. He was thought to have suffered a heart attack or a stroke before falling to the walkway.
