EMPLOYEE INJURED WHEN HIS VEHICLE WAS HIT BY TRAIN

On January 18, 1990, an employee was operating a forklift used to move a propane tank to the tank storage area when a CSX train traveling approximately 2.5 mph collided into him and the vehicle on the tracks. The impact of the collision threw the forklift and employee approximately 100 feet to the side of the tracks. The employee received an injury in the impact resulting in a fracture.
