EMPLOYEE FATALLY CRUSHED BY ROAD COMPACTOR

Employee #1 had been running a Bomag road compactor (Model Number BW142-pob). The employee stopped the machine on a slight incline, put machine in neutral and jumped off the machine as it began to topple over. Employee #1 stumbled and the top of roll bar struck and pinned him. The machine, weighing in excess of five tons, caused fatal crushing injuries.
