EMPLOYEE #1 REACHED INTO THE MACHINE'S POINT OF OPERATION TO GET A PART AS THE RAM WAS ON ITS UPWARD STROKE. HIS FINGERS WERE CAUGHT AND AMPUTATED BETWEEN THE BOTTOM OF THE RAM AND THE METAL STOP BAR. THE STOP BAR WAS ONE INCH THICK, 2 INCHES WIDE AND 7 INCHES LONG.
