Employee #1 was operating an injection molding machine and had completed approximately 130 pieces of a 150 piece run. He was removing a finished piece-part from the mold by hand when it closed unexpectedly on his right hand, pinching two fingers. His index and little fingers were amputated and he required hospitalization.
