CONSTRUCTION EMPLOYEE STRUCK AND CRUSHED BY FALLING PLYWOOD

A FRAMING SUB-CONTRACTOR'S EMPLOYEES WERE SHEETING THE ROOF OF A TWO STORY BUILDING. THE ROOF HAD A PITCH OF 6/12. THE HORSE SUPPORTS FOR APPROXIMATELY 75 SHEETS OF PLYWOOD COLLAPSED, CAUSING THE PLYWOOD SHEETS TO FALL FROM THE ROOF. AN EMPLOYEE OF A PLUMBING SUB-CONTRACTOR (EMPLOYEE #1) WAS STANDING NEAR THE BUILDING, TALKING TO ANOTHER PLUMBER. THE FALLING PLYWOOD SHEETS STRUCK EMPLOYEE #1, CRUSHING AND KILLING HIM.
