Employee killed when struck by rolling log
At approximately 10:15 a.m. on July 2, 1987, Employee #1 was bucking logs on a landing when a saw log that was located about 33 ft above him on a 70 percent grade, became dislodged. The log rolled down the hill, striking and killing Employee #1.
