Investigation Summary
Employee #1 felled an oak tree approximately 30 ft high and 20 in. in diameter. The oak fell against a beech tree and a limb of the beech was pulled down with the oak. When the limb sprang back, it broke and flew 15 to 20 ft to where Employee #1 was standing, striking him in the head and killing him.
