EMPLOYEES #1, #2, #3, AND ANOTHER WORKER WERE STANDING ON THE WOODEN TRUSSES THAT THEY WERE SETTING INTO POSITION WITH TEMPORARY BRACING DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CHURCH. THESE BRACES WERE BEING HANDED UP TO THEM BY A WORKER BELOW. AFTER INSTALLING PERMANENT BRACING ON THE FIRST EIGHT TRUSSES, THE FOUR EMPLOYEES FELL AS THE SEVEN REMAINING TRUSSES, SUPPORTED WITH TEMPORARY BRACING, EXPERIENCED STRUCTURAL FAILURE. EMPLOYEES #1, #2 AND #3 SUSTAINED SERIOUS INJURIES AS THEY FELL TO THE FLOOR OF THE CHURCH AND WERE STRUCK BY THE FALLING TRUSSES.
