Employee struck by falling load is killed

At about 2:15 p.m. on August 29, 2014, Employee #1 was checking to see if the load on a flatbed truck had shifted. He was standing on the ground checking the tie down straps. A strap loosened and the load fell over onto Employee #1. He received crushing chest and abdominal injuries and was asphyxiated.
