Investigation Summary
At 6:00 p.m. on August 8, 2012, a 23 year old male, Employee #1, performing his normal work duties during the second shift. The employee left his work area and other employees that observed Employee #1 did not notice any unusual behavior. Employee #1 then entered the office of his supervisor, a 58 year old male, carrying a handgun Employee #1 had brought into the building with him. Employee #1 shot his supervisor multiple times with the handgun, then left supervisor's office and went to another area of the production area where he shot himself. Employee #1 was pronounced dead at the scene. Employee #2 died at the hospital as a result of the injuries sustained fom the gunshot wounds.
