Investigation Summary
On August 5, 2013, Employee #1 was harvesting peaches and fell approximately 10 to 20 feet before hitting the ground. He lost his balance with approximately 40 lbs of peaches in his picking bag when he fell. He suffered unspecified injuries. Employee #1 was taken by ambulance to Rideout Hospital and then transferred to UC Davis Medical Center for surgery, where he was hospitalized for seven days.
