Employee Using Hand Saw Amputates Finger Tips

On July 16, 2013, Employee #1 was making repetitive cuts with a portable circular saw. The employee accidently positioned his left hand ahead of the saw as he repositioned the saw for another cut. Employee #1 amputated the tip of his middle and ring fingers. The employee was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated and later released.
