Falling Load Strikes and Kills Truck Driver

On December 11, 2013, Employee #1, a 54-year-old male, truck driver with Nicorr LLC., and a coworker were manually holding up the tarp while the forklift operator removed a piece of equipment from the trailer. As the load had been picked up and moved off the trailer, Employee #1 moved forward and was caught between the load and the trailer when the load shifted and fell. Employee #1 was killed in the struck by event, suffered unspecified fracture injuries in the event.
