Employee Suffers Heat Illness While Collecting Almonds

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on June 28, 2013, Employee #1, a field technician, of Deerpoint Group, Inc. experienced symptoms of heat illness while in the course of his normal work duties. The employee became ill while collecting almond tree leaves for sampling. Employee #1 was taken to an area medical facility, where he was treated and released.
