Investigation Summary
At approximately 6:00 p.m. on October 6, 2012 Employee #1, a farm vehicle operator, sustained a left knee contusion and open laceration with a fracture just below the knee joint when he collided with a coworker on another tractor. Both Employee #1 and a coworker were operating tractors, with almond shuttle carts, to transport almonds from the field to a staging area. Employee #1 was traveling down a dirt road when he collided with a coworker who was exiting the field.
