Employee Is Struck by Falling Object and Killed

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on July 2, 2012, Employee #1 was raising a 12 ft by 46 ft modular home on a trailer with a Trans Lift machine. The lift machine was used to level the home, from where it would be connected to an attachment on a crane. The crane would then transport the home and place it onto a foundation. As the lift was raising the home and trailer into position, the home fell from the trailer and struck Employee #1. He sustained crushing injuries that killed him.
