Employee Is Injured in Fall from Forklift

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on February 26, 2012, an employee was stepping off a parked HYSTER forklift when he lost his footing and fell down. Employee fell to his right side approximately 24 inches while stepping from the step of a forklift. The employee was transported to Beverly Hospital, Montebello, California, for medical treatment. He was hospitalized for eight days and treated for a fractured right hip bone.
