Event: 10/09/2012
Employee Struck by a Track Cat

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on October 9, 2012 Employee #1 sustained serious injuries of his left lower leg and foot when a bobcat track ran over his foot. Employee #1's supervisor, was operating the bobcat while the other two coworkers were spotting the bobcat. Employee #1 was checking the soil at the time. When the coworker was about one scoop away from finishing, he called a coworker to hand over his cell phone so Employee #1 could take some pictures of the area of the contaminated soil removal. As Employee #1 took the phone and turned around, the bobcat inadvertently moved forward and ran over his left foot and caused fracture to his left lower leg.
