Event: 02/21/2011
Employee Dies from Heart Attack

On February 21, 2011, Employee #1 was working in a warehouse, collecting ingredients used to make batches of Coca-Cola products. A coworker observed Employee #1 talking on a cell phone and reported it to his supervisor, as the company policy prohibits the use of cell phones during work. As the supervisor went to speak to Employee #1 about using a cell phone, she found him lying on a pallet unresponsive. Emergency services were contacted and, upon their arrival, Employee #1 was taken to a nearby medical facility, where he was determined dead. An autopsy was performed, indicating that Employee #1 died from a heart attack.
