Employee Dies in Fall from Aerial Lift

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on November 9, 2011, Employee #1, an electrical equipment repairman, was working from a aerial lift, near a utility pole. He rigged the utility pole to the boom in an attempt to dislodge it. The pole snapped and he was catapulted 33 feet from the bucket and was killed. He was not wearing fall protection.
