Investigation Summary
Sometime before 9:00 p.m. on May 10, 2012, an employee was working for a tree trimming service. He was trimming a tree at a winery in Sonoma, CA, when the branch securing his ropes broke. He fell approximately 30 feet (9.1 meters) to the ground, landing on a fragmented gravel walkway. The employee was taken by his foreman to Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa, CA, where he was treated for a fractured pelvis and elbow.
