Employee Fractures Foot in Fall Off Lighthouse Porch

On July 4, 2011, Employee #1 was about to give a living history demonstration at the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse when she stepped down from the porch, down the two steps and onto an uneven (cement) surface and fell. Employee #1 was taken to the emergency room at the Newport Hospital by an ambulance with a broken left ankle and leg and right foot.
