Employee Drowns in Water Near Water Meter

On May 19, 2011, Employee #1 was collecting water meter readings. She was discovered later on in the morning at approximately 10:00 a.m. near a meter in a remote rural location. Employee #1 was facedown in approximately 8 inches of water. She was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner report revealed that preliminary cause of her death was drowning and that she had a long history of seizures. No other details were provided in the narrative.
