Employee Fractures Legs in Fall on Ground

On January 9, 2012, an employee, a teachers' aide of the Westminster School District, was attempting to deescalate the temperament of a kindergarten student, when suddenly the student spun away causing the employee to sustain a serious injury to her left lower leg. The Orange County Fire Authority responded and transported the employee to the Huntington Beach Hospital, where she was admitted for surgery on fractured legs. The employee was discharged from the hospital on January 12, 2012.
