Employee Fractures Leg When Struck by Forklift

At approximately 7:50 a.m. on August 23, 2011, an employee was driving a Walkie-rider while talking to Coworker #1. The employee suddenly stepped off the equipment backwards when Coworker #2 was driving a forklift, Serial Number 9A 166895, on the opposite direction. The forklift driven by Coworker #2 struck the employee's right leg. The employee was transported to Huntington Beach Hospital in Huntington Beach, CA, where he was hospitalized and treated for right leg fracture.
