Investigation Summary
On April 27, 2011, Five employees were working for their employer, a general contractor, on a 50 foot by 60 foot residential garage and airplane hangar that was under construction. Employees #1-5 were assigned the task of installing trusses at approximately 15 feet above ground level. The trusses that Employees #1-5 were working on collapsed. Employees #1-4 were hospitalized for their injuries and were admitted overnight. Employee #5 sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released the same day.
