Worker Pulling Wire Cuts Fingers, Suffers Partial Amputation

On June 8, 2011, Employee #1, a 35-year-old male with Far West Fibers Inc., attempted to pull a wire from the screen machine that was caught up and spinning. As Employee #1 pulled the wire, the wire ripped away from him and injured three fingers. Employee #1 was hospitalized for an amputation from this event.
