Employee Falls from Scaffold

On April 15, 2011 a painting contractor employee was working off of a second level scaffold and fell approximately 12.5 feet onto soft soil. The employee was seriously injured and air evacuated for hospital admission/treatment. It inconclusive as to how the accident occurred. The employee told the employer that he slipped on the scaffold surface and fell.
