Employee Gets Finger Amputated with a Band Saw

At approximately 4:48 p.m., on December 20, 2011 Employee #1 of La Posta Market, sustained an amputation of the distal phalanx on the index finger of the right hand while using a band saw to cut meat. Employee #1 was transported to UCSD Medical Center in San Diego and remained hospitalized for over 24 hours for treatment.
