Construction Laborer Dies of Electrocution

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on July 8, 2011, Employee #1, a landscape laborer, was unloading at a truck a residential construction site. The weather conditions were hot and humid. After he took a break to drink water from a cooler under the office trailer, a coworker found Employee #1 unresponsive, face-down, under the office trailer. Emergency personnel responded to the site and pronounced Employee #1 dead at the scene. The coroner determined the cause of death to be electrocution.
