Employee Is Killed Falling from Roof

On November 3, 2010, Employee #1 and a coworker were framing on a roof, 30 ft above the ground. The roof level was surrounded by a parapet wall which was 18 to 24 inches in height. Employee #1 was moving a piece of lumber out of the way and was walking backwards. He backed into the parapet wall and fell to the concrete sidewalk below. He landed on his head and died.
