Investigation Summary
On January 19, 2012, Employee #1, a maintenance mechanic, for the California Dairies' dairy products manufacturing plant was descending a 4 ft. framed ladder. The employee's foot missed the first step, causing the employee to fall backwards 1 to 2 ft. Employee #1 was taken to an area hospital suffering a scalp laceration and small hematoma. The employee was treated and released.
