Employee Fractures Foot in Fall from Rack

On January 11, 2012, an employee was riding on the Crown Platform Picker operated by the warehouse manager while searching for missing inventory. She had stepped off the platform and on to top shelf of the rack approximately 11.5 feet in height. The employee lost her balance and fell on to the concrete floor below. The employee was admitted to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California, and treated for fractured foot.
